The Long Beach Poker Club was founded by 4 friends scribbling out the initial parameters on a napkin. We're now in our 13th season with a committed group of tournament players and multiple social members! Social members in attendance join us in nightly games on a monthly basis, and are eligible to become tournament players in the upcoming season. APPLICATIONS
Each member must set up an LBPC League email account on Gmail...format should be "firstname.lb.pokerclub@gmail.com" and confirm their season commitment on the League's G-Mail Calendar .
This Calendar will send details to each member indicating Game Times and Locations, as well as automate multiple steps from an administrative point of view. Just another way your League Membership Fees are being applied!
TARDY
If not present and without notice of being late, players will be considered absent. Late players will have to chip down before the 1st and 2nd Blinds.
**First Blind = 15% Less Chips**
**Second Blind = 30% Less Chips**
Late players must wait until the next round to start playing. If a player says they will be late and don't show before the start of the 3rd round there will be a 20 fee that will go into the league account.
ABSENCE
Absent players still owe the 30 fee. Absent players will get 2 points. If Multiple absent, they get the average. (Example if 2 absent they'll each get 3 points. If 3 absent they'll each get 4 points). Any player absent more then twice will be dropped and money invested will be surrendered.
**SURRENDER RULE**
Always follow good poker etiquette...do not start a game that you know you cannot finish. If you must leave a game for an emergency, you will surrender at the current position you are in when you leave...your chips will be surrendered to the bank. Bounties you've earned will be distributed at the next game you attend.

GAME PLAY
Players will be assigned random seating by random drawing.
2 tables if 10 or more players.
If multiple tables, the small and big blinds from each table will switch seats at end of every round.
If dealer accidentally flips over a card during the deal, or any player sees another players card, it is a misdeal and must re-deal a shuffled deck.
Players do not have the option to keep the card saw.
Chopping, check it down, straddling, and running it twice allowed.
Player's hand will be folded if not in seat when it's their turn.
Use break time or time after a fold to leave the table.
ETIQUETTE
Have respect for other players and the host. Clean up after yourselves!!
No illegal drugs at the playing tables!
It should not be the host's responsibility to clean up after you.
We're all grown ass men and should clean up after ourselves!

THE "BIG PAPPA" AWARD
This Award is in dedication to one of our Founding Member's, Mr. Mario Roman. It is given to the Member that goes above and beyond required and expected responsibilities over the course of a Season. The winner will be voted on by his peers in the league. The winner will have his name added to the BIG PAPPA Memorial Plaque and be the care-taker for the season.

Arrive at each Game-Night at least 10 minutes prior to the start time; with all monies and dues paid up-to-date, and receive a 10% chip bonus

Bad Beat is a full house with Aces full of 10's or better losing.
